Coaches Code of Conduct
As a leader your beliefs, attitudes and ethics will guide and shape the behaviour of the players and spectators
of your team. The primary responsibility of a youth soccer coach is to help the young player to have fun, learn and improve. A coach should coach for the joy and success of the players.
Coaches are responsible for:
· Showing respect and actively demonstrating fair sportsmanship
· Encouraging players to take responsibility for their own behaviour and performance
· Providing a positive environment for all players
· Show unwavering respect for players, officials and opponents
- Reporting consistent issues that are not in within the Player Code of Conduct to the board/league officials
· A coach must be enthusiastic and positive.
They must ensure they are generous with their praise when deserved.
